This is the number one reason I rarely go to IMAX anymore haha. I've got the Alamo season pass, so they have The Big Show. It's a solid choice for a larger screen size and better sound, but it's definitely not the same as IMAX.

 

What was up with the random techno music all throughout season 1 of the clone wars haha

I wonder if Rogue One could be a good first SW movie to show my girlfriend, and then we could watch ANH when we got home. Haven't seen it in a while

It probably makes no sense without context now that I think about it lol

 

It’s an awful starting point. While you could watch it out of context and get the basics of what’s going on, it does not explain some things and relies on having seen at least the OG trilogy.

 

I re-watched TROS and by re-watch I mean fast forwarded through the bad stuff and spent about 30 minutes actually watching it.

Was actually pretty good this time.

 

Imagine if we edited every bad movie to only the good parts, we'd probably make some really great 15 minute TV episodes.

 

The Han scene. Ben doing the solo shrug with the blue saber. Hearing Kanan and Ahsoka in the “be with me” moment. The Rey/Kylo vision fight. The concept of Leia training Rey (execution is held back by the real life limitations, not much more they could’ve done without recasting her voice at least). Rey making her own saber. Kylo murdering people on Mustafar. I’d keep the shot that shows the Ghost in the huge ships shot.

That’s about all I’d keep, to be honest. 2 scenes and a few random bits or ideas. Yikes.
