The Revenge of the Sith musical theme in this trailer goes so goddamn hard. I need to listen to that soundtrack again

I'm a little over half-way through reading Lost Stars and so far am really enjoying it. This is my first foray into anything outside the movies and Mando + BOBF and wondering what else is recommended for reading? I've heard good things about Master and Apprentice and Leia: Princess of Alderaan

  8. Master and apprentice is a great audio book. The person who reads it is awesome.

    Leia is great

Also recommend the thrawn trilogies, ahsoka, the high republic series

I’ve fallen way behind on the books, so I can only speak to the earlier stuff.

anything by Claudia Gray is worth checking out. The Leia books were fantastic. Ahsoka was good. The first two Thrawn books were good, I haven’t gotten around to the third or the newer set of his stuff.

    thats a good start there.

The article is behind a paywall, but the tweet says the one thing you need to know about it.

Watchmen is one of my favorite TV shows ever (and I love Lost too) so this is a yes from me.

That reminds me that I need to finally watch Watchmen now that I have HBO max.

and I’m down for this as well. Despite hating the finale of LOST, there’s lots of great stuff in the show. I like the Star Trek stuff he was involved in, too.

Don't forget The Leftovers...probably the best piece of television he's made.

I will only believe announced star wars films are coming out once I see an official trailer at this point.

Bryce Dallas Howard may be involved in Ahsoka in some way, likely directing an episode based on her previous collaborations.

While I haven’t been a huge fan of the current runs of comics outside of High Republic stuff, the Vader comic has been really killing it. Between these Vader comics and E.K. Johnston’s Padme books, I think this is one of the best examples of why the connected canon stuff works so well, in this case filling out so much on Sabe (Keira Knightly’s handmaiden from Phantom Menace). She’s been so fleshed out and made into such an interesting character through different types of storytelling and really makes me watch Phantom Menace differently now.

Been watching some Rebels to continue celebrating Star Wars from May the 4th. After jumping around the earlier seasons I’m watching the 5 last episodes. Kanan’s death still hits hard and it’s wild that they essentially takes the whole episode showing the crew each dealing with and processing their grief in their own way. For kids!

I haven’t had my kids watch any of clone wars or rebels. It gets super heavy and dark in places.

Gonna say upfront, raise your kids how you want to. I’m sure you’re doing a good job. Why would you listen to a childless dumb dumb like me?

with that said, dark moments in kids movies and tv art like essential to a lot of them. Constant death of parents is a big one. I’m sure the kids would be just fine with this stuff.

  24. Yeah every Disney movie a parent dies lol

Clone wars is pretty violent. My son so far wants nothing to do with star wars.
