I’m just super excited to see them expand and play more in the High Republic era. That initiative has been amazing so far and this tells me it’s having a lot of success so far.

Finished the thrawn ascendency trilogy. Zahn is such a good star wars author. I think I liked it more than the first Disney thrawn trilogy but it leads into that one nicely.

 

Finished the Rising Storm. Didn't realize falling star comes out next week as well.

I wonder how successful this high republic stuff has been. I've been enjoying it but I'm not blown away or anything. I would think we'd get a movie or tv series at some point.

 

Disney seems pleased. They keep investing in all of it.

 

I’d love something High Republic on a screen. Im not a big reader, but from what I’ve consumed, it’s a pretty cool era to explore.

 

Pretty sure the Acolyte is suppose to take place near the end of the High Republic Era.

 

This thread has not discussed nearly enough the whole Jazz Jizz fiasco.

 

A friend told me about jazz/jizz years ago, and my reaction to it was exactly the same as that thread. Specifically, the realization that I have so much Star Wars knowledge in my head and somehow missed that.

Finished The Fallen Star and it really solidified this entire initiative as one of my all time favorite things in Star Wars. I’ve been so invested in all the characters/stories and it’s really fun to be surprised by Star Wars again.

The thrawn ascendancy trilogy is my favorite thing here but the high republic stuff is great. Leia and ahsoka are great.

I live in NJ so that might factor into your decisions. But since your both interested, maybe split amongst yourselves or if someone only wants one and someone wants the rest that's cool too lol.

 

I was thinking Ahsoka, Leia, Catalyst, and the High Republic ones. If you're okay with that, you can have the rest? I'm in IA.
