I watched Twins and Village Bride tonight. Both are solid. Still think the Duel is my favorite so far.

absolutely loved Ninth Jedi, the twist was so simple but effective as hell. the tea-drinking droid ruled

 

Visions struggled to hold my attention for about half of it but the other half was great. And yeah I legit liked that basically Green Day song in the second episode lol

 

I agree with this order, I'd just move The Duel to #1.

 

Twins was absolutely wild

 

pretty good season of TV although I'm not sure I'd rewatch a lot of it. really cool thing for properties to do, I wish we'd see more stuff like this and The Animatrix, both just wild rides. overall:

absolutely loved - Village Bride, The Ninth Jedi, The Elder, Akakiri (what a way to end a season good lord)
mostly enjoyed - The Duel, The Twins, TO-B1
indifferent or kinda disliked - Tattooine Rhapsody, Lop and Ocho

 

the music in all of these was dope as well. loved the little flourishes of OG Star Wars themes mixing with classic anime sounds.

 

The Ninth Jedi was my favorite, with The Duel and The Elder right behind.

 

Village Bride is my favorite so far. The memories of the planet bit was fantastic.

 

I really enjoyed these. Would happily take further stories like this.

 

I’d love to see the continuation of a lot of these stories. I think the most fun part is just seeing all of these creative people’s view of Star Wars, what it means, and what speaks to them. The more creative vehicles for people to show their perspectives the better.

 

Oh, so this is where everyone's talking about Visions.

I think I love Twins and Tatooine Rhapsody so much because I love Gurren Lagann/Kill La Kill/etc and Beck Mongolian Chop Squad haha

 

Ninth Jedi. Wow. Loved that one.
