Regarding Crosshair’s chip: I thought he was lying and or was lied to about his chip being out going into the finale. There is a moment when he’s talking to Omega and he rubs his head (like Wrecker when he had his chip in) in the Kay episode, so I assumed it was still there.

That said, Jennifer Corbett said this in an interview “I think we can say that he had his chip removed. The eagle-eyed fan will rewatch the season and notice a shift in his character, and when that is. They’ll probably have seen it all along.“ Sounds pretty definitive that it’s out. I like it, definitely an interesting place to take the show.

 

yeah, I’m now assuming the shots of (what we presumed were) them ramping up Crosshair’s programming were actually the Empire removing his chip. the other scenario I can see is it getting removed after his injury on Bracca.

 

Are the stories in Visions going to be considered “Cannon”? I wonder if any of the stories will spawn other things in the future.

They won’t be canon. I think they made that decision to give the studios full creative range.

 

wow thought I'd hit the peak of the season but the Ryloth episodes were even better

at this point Filoni's shows are 110% what keeps me invested in this entire universe

Anyone else reading War of the Bounty Hunters? For me it started really well and has kinda stalled because everything in the main series is really condensed and all the tie-ins have the same problem because they can’t get ahead of the main story. At this point it maybe should have been a month long crossover event like Vader Down or Screaming Citadel and not a 6-month tie-in event.

 

I like where its going story wise. Definitely agree with your points. It did seem to start out stronger and I’ve liked some issues here and there (I dug the Jabba one shot). I think I would have enjoyed maybe a month of tie ins and a quicker release of the main series.

 

yeah the last episode of Bad Batch fucking ruled. love how it was almost a bottle episode, and the animation was beyond gorgeous. can't wait for more of this show

 

Also finally started Bad Batch, watched the first half of the season today. Started AMAZING but the middle ones that I watched (so like roughly 4-6) lost me a little bit, but 7-8 were both really great and up there with the best of Clone Wars. I really love how this is expanding on the transition from the Republic to the Empire, that's always the exact era I've always wanted to see more of. Can't wait to probably finish tomorrow

 

Caught back up with Bad Batch and it still wasn’t speaking to me. I can’t say that I really care about any of the main cast and more interested in the setup for future stuff like the last scene of the finale than the Bad Batch’s story.

 

I’m sort of with you when it comes to the cast. I like Omega, Crosshairs, and Hunter. But most of the cast doesn’t really grip me. I do like the stories and the season finale was really awesome. So I’ll keep tuning in. But I’d def appertains character development with most of the characters.

 

I'm surprised as anyone but Tech ended up being my favourite of the cast by far, his dry sense of humour is so good

I wish Echo got a bit more to do though, his backstory is one of the most interesting but they haven't really used it to its full potential yet

 

Yeah, most interesting part of the show was easily showing the transition from the Republic to the Empire but I did enjoy the show a lot for the most part. A couple episodes didn't really grab me but at its best it's some really great Star Wars

Just turned on the new Gallery episode. Really excited about this.

 

That new Gallery episode was great. Loved getting all of the behind the scenes on how they did that finale. I hope they do this with every live action Star Wars series and season.

 

I loved all the Plo Koon misdirection they were doing with the finale.

 

This looks amazing. They finally included the Yoda vs Sidious duel
