HOLY SHIT I FINALLY CAUGHT UP

 

It seems like we’re gonna get a lot more Order 66 than I expected which is both awesome and going to be soul crushing.

 

Star Wars is tragedy.

 

hot damn this arc is nuts. The Maul vs Ahsoka battle was superb. They are really nailing this.

I’m cruising through Clone Wars in my quarantine rewatch, about halfway through season 5. can’t wait to get to the new stuff.
looks like if I want to stay in chronological order I should throw episodes 5-8 of the season between seasons 5 & 6. assuming those are flashbacks?

 

Wow they really captured the way Maul moved in TPM in this episode. Outstanding all around episode.

i was so impressed with Maul's fighting. It felt so right the way him and ashoka were going.

 

Easily one of the most impressively choreographed fights in the animated Star Wars. Maul was already a great character thanks this show and Rebels, but this episode has shot him up to one of my all time favorites.

 

Such an amazing arc, this episode was no exception. So many great moments. That fight scene was fantastic and I’m so glad they motion captured Ray, such a continuity between this and Episode 1 visually.

Loved seeing Dryden Vos and thought this episode captured the episode III vibe perfectly. Can’t wait to see more order 66 and can’t help but feel it’s gonna be a sad as fuck ending.

 

Prince Xizor!!!

 

I’ve seen some people say that the Falleen representing Black Sun was definitively Prince Xizor from Shadows of the Empire. But I don’t know how to confirm it or not. He just looks like any other Falleen to me.

 

Oh haha oops, I didn’t see this before my previous post. But yea, I don’t see why we think it’s him specifically.

 

I mean he was a crime lord. It would be pretty annoying for them to make another random falleen the crime lord of the same gang.

I mean we have had Falleen and Black Sun in season 5 and there was no need for it to be Xizor.

 

there were several Falleen members of Black Sun back in S5 of Clone Wars.
