Weirdest thing about solo is that Lando’s robot gf is now the navigational computer of the falcon.

The funniest part about the ending of Rogue One is how stupid it makes it when says they were on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan lol

A friend of mine loves it because it reminds him of how people were sometimes given new names at places like Ellis Island. I'm still not a fan of the scene, but it's a cool perspective on it.

Still in awe that they made Lando, the biggest womanizer in the galaxy, in love with his robot

    Day 5, A New Hope

    - Utter classic. You can’t really complain about anything in this movie, pretty perfect. Watching it after the other movies gives it a little more emotional weight. Plus I actually understand the politics more where before they were just “adultspeak” to me as a kid. Just a great story. Love Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan. Harrison Ford is just the great charmer and perfect comic relief. The music! The directing (all the ongoing background extras/droids/aliens/etc) the only reason I won’t give this a perfect score is because it still gets better! (9.5/10)

Day 6, The Empire Strikes Back

    - I have to say this isn’t my favorite opening of the SW films. A tad much going on during the battle of Hoth (But boy is it fun to play in video games) but once we arrive at “The Asteroid Field” (My favorite John Williams SW piece) sequence the movie levels up and blasts beyond A New Hope imo. Love the chemistry between Harrison and Carrie, Lando, and everything at Cloud City. Han Solo shooting at Vader is a scene that has always stuck out the most to me since I was a kid. Then once Luke arrives to Cloud City the movie becomes legendary til the end.

Day 7, Return Of The Jedi

Great opening! Jabba The Hutt, Leia releasing Han, fight at the sarlacc is a good time. Endor is fun and everything between Luke & Vader. The Battle against the second Death Star is probably my favorite SW space battle ever. Then of course Luke Vs. Vader Vs. Emperor, iconic.

I've always thought the Hoth segment was a tiny bit too long too actually

I love the Hoth sequence, & basically all of Empire, just the way it is.

I'm glad that the best Star Wars movie is also the only one where the most recent version is the overall best version (imo), even though the theatrical version still rules & is worthy of topping the list. But, yeah, you'd think showing the Wampa more instead of leaving it up to our imaginations would suck, as often happens w/ Star Wars. Especially w/ how bad the additions typically look. But, the Wampa visually rules. The windows in Cloud City look shockingly good, too, imo. And, while the original Emperor design is really cool, I like having the Emperor we all know there.

Dang it, now I gotta watch a good ol' Star Wars today.

I still don’t love this movie, but I like CinemaWins’ take on a lot of the things I disagree with. I don’t like having a negative outlook, especially with something I love as much as Star Wars, so this is helping.
