Eh, thats not really right. It’s the people who passionately hate TLJ, in particular. And I never said anywhere it was for every movie.

I have yet to find one person who passionately hates TLJ that isn’t less than intelligent or worse, racist or sexist. Some are all 3, some just one or two.

I love TLJ but obviously other than the racist and sexist shit, there’s legitimate reasons that people can dislike it. And lumping those people into calling them morons is as childish as being the TLJ trolls.

I enjoyed the jokey animated adaption of the Trevorrow story treatment for Episode IX much more than the actual film The Rise of Skywalker. Like by a mile. Its not even close.

I recently tried to rewatch TROS as a distraction and I could not make it past the weird fucking slow-mo opening scenes of Kylo Ren dramatically battling some randos in a forest like it is the most important thing to ever happen when in fact I haven't the foggiest fucking clue what is even going on.

In all fairness, the opening crawl might explain exactly what he is doing and where he is and why he's killing randos but my brain explodes every time Palpatine is just fucking back and it isn't even shown and just explained with words in the stupidest fucking way ever and I miss the rest of the crawl.

 

So you can dislike the movie, you just can’t hate it without being a racist sexist? I love TLJ but damn, I think maybe you need to check out your own world view and take some lessons from the movie you love.

 

To be fair, you must have a high IQ to understand TLJ.

I appreciate it. But this movie does rile me up and I’m not sure what updates will come for this movie that’ll bring me joy.
