Fuck it, make episode 10 where it’s a bunch of Palpatines and Snokes running rampant all over the galaxy, having been bred like rabbits

No, it was real Palpatine. Well, until they announce it the other way for some reason.

I feel like it would have to be the clone right?

I mean, Sheev could have gotten someone pregnant right before the Clone Wars ended or a little earlier and the timing would work out.

This movie fascinates me because every other shitty movie that I've seen before just evaporates from my mind almost as I'm watching it but this movie... I just can't stop thinking about it. The clone thing has totally thrown me off. Nothing make sense. How old is the clone? Why is it melting? Did it fuck some random or was that the other (I guess) non-clone from Episode 1-6? If he's a clone and they were cranking out Snoke clones like a toy factory, why was he the only clone made?

I know the answer to all those questions is essentially "lol fuck you for caring" and I should just move on but it's like an abyss I can't quit staring into lol

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

the fact that this is a genuine question we can all now ponder blows my fucking mind

I still think Lucasfilm is either gonna announce an episode 10 within the next few years and market it as the "actual" finale to the Skywalker saga, or they're gonna announce a new Skywalker saga trilogy altogether. In an age where fan outcry holds so much sway, it feels like the inevitable outcome.

Plus the only redeeming thing about making Rey a Skywalker is that the Skywalkers will live on, and I feel they wouldn't have done that if they had absolutely no intention of carrying on the Skywalker saga. Plus I would admittedly be a bit sad if we never got to see Daisy Ridley in the role again.

The vibe I get from most of the cast through interviews and such is that they'd rather swallow glass than come back to these characters, but only time will tell.

I could see 10 happening in like 20-30 years. Not anytime soon.

John Boyega in particular. That dude couldn't hate screaming REY! anymore.

I could see them doing something around the Jedi and Mandalorian wars if The Mandalorian continues to be a success. Episode 10 does feel inevitable, but not or a while.

  17. I don't think I care if there is a movie any time soon or not with the Mandalorian, Clone Wars, Obi Wan show, new era of books/novels.

Despite this movie being bad, at least the overall Star Wars content the last five years has been good.

This. It's a bummer that the Saga movies ended on a low note, but I've enjoyed the four other movies, Mandalorian is off to a promising start as well as Clone Wars, not to mention Rebels and some truly spectacular comics.

Hopefully they learn the right lessons from this and continue to put out some great stuff.

after what would have been a nearly 3 month break from this movie, i was really actually sort of looking forward to watching it again when it came out on digital, after digesting so much of the criticisms and my own thoughts on it, and this is all just......just not helping that desire at all lol

And you can see what appears to be a wire on his shoulder for the mic. How rushed was this shit?

Let’s not pretend like there haven’t been mistakes like that in other Star Wars movies

But which other ones were as rushed and rewritten as this one? How last minute was this particular scene?
