    I'm going to reluctantly buy the blu-ray, aren't I

There's undoubtedly going to be a massive Skywalker Saga boxset coming out.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

Today's daily poll at work (which I never take part in usually) is about Star Wars directors. Rian is leading everyone by a healthy margin

I refuse to buy the OT on Blu-ray until it’s the original cut, or at least the 97 version. I’d settle for the special editions.

Not surprising given his episode of the Mandalorian

Hopefully he appears as Korg and officially ties Star Wars and the MCU together!

I know it’s a joke but Spider-Man: Homecoming has a Palp toy and LEGO Death Star

Star Wars is in the ET movie, a poster or something, but the ET alien race is in Phantom, so it’s already convoluted and weird, haha

ET also notices Yoda when a kid is wearing a Yoda costume and he starts running towards him.

I wouldn’t doubt that Taika would also put a Thor easter egg in a Star Wars movie

I mean, technically it says a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Kind of implies this universe...

It's so funny/sad reading the first pages of this thread, but this post in particular... oomph

I know I posted it before, but the destruction of Kijimi felt like a metaphor for blowing up all the remaining hope I had in the theater.

I don’t really remember much of this movie anymore

Yeah, it's frankly incredible how unmemorable this whole movie is. The only thing that really sticks with me is Rey's force lightning moment. Probably because it was the only moment of this thing that actually felt unexpected.

I went back and found some that were either really funny to me in hindsight or oddly dead on.

    Holy. Shit.

Trevorrow’s script is so fucking good.

I got chills multiple times just listening to someone read quotes from a script, something that happened zero times when watching ROTS.

    god. Dammit.
