And I’m sure they’ll eventually do a Star Wars/Star Trek crossover and definitely a Marvel/Avengers one, too

The whole Palpatine's body thing is the least of my personal concerns 'cause, on average, this franchise fails way more often when explaining too much, & is much better off just leaving things up to imagination. (See: the dang tank of Snokes.)

If I were making a good version of this film, I wouldn't have Palpatine literally alive. But, if you're gonna do it, making him gross & surrounded by both religious & science fiction aesthetic, w/out a clear explanation on how he's still around, is the right choice.

Hot take: If we build star killer base and just like...kiiiinda suck out the power of the sun then global warming is no biggie.

You can't really compare remaking Star Wars with remaking LOTR in my opinion because, like, unless you're basing the new movie off of Peter Jackson's movies, it isn't a "remake" of those movies, it's just another new adaptation of the source material. Like, nobody is calling Gerwig's Little Women a "remake" of the 90s movie, it's just a new interpretation/adaptation of the novel.

  11. Can someone remake the Hobbit but good this time?

I almost don’t want anyone to touch any Tolkien stuff. I think Jackson’s trilogy was a fluke and they’ll never again give the material the care it deserves. I’m wary of the Amazon stuff.

I’m here for the prequels reboot that starts with Queen Amidala of Alderaan which would have actually made god damn sense.

I was gonna say wouldn’t that make it even more obvious to Vader that Leia is his daughter, but logic and Star Wars doesn’t apply so why not.

At this point, I don't want them to remake anything. Just leave the saga as is and move on. Go back a thousand years or go forward a thousand.

is it any more hard to believe than giving Luke to Vader's step-brother who lives on Vader's home planet in the same homestead where Vader's mother lived right before she died and where Vader had been himself once?

No lol good point. Although it could be argued that Leia was heavily visible public figure as the princess and senator of a planet in the Empire, and Tattooine was a outer rim waste planet that Vader probably avoided. But again it's all dumb.

but then it's almost a case of the notoriety makes it even easier for her to escape notice because Vader didn't know there were twins, she's passing as the daughter of Bail Organa, and one child is also on Tatooine. I think Luke's hiding place is honestly worse in that scenario.
