Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (J.J. Abrams, December 20, 2019) Movie • Page 304

  1. I did like Rey not thinking of that first when she was like “I burned the ship” and we already saw she was powerful enough to do just that.

those xwings have great craftsmanship. handling year of water damage.

as someone who read way too many Star Wars books, having hyperspace travel be so damn fast will never feel right to me. I’ve read so much about it taking time and all that. Here they just super quick can be anywhere.

    Super nit-picky, I know.

  5. I really need to sit down and think of this timeline. Did Lando go on the mission with Luke and never leave Burning Man? When was that timeline wise before he went to the island. Felt like whiplash.

We have to see Ashsoka's journey back to being a Jedi now, right? I mean she wasn't one in Rebels but she's in the voices that Rey hears.

He said he'd received a message from Leia that they were going there, she probably knew Lando went there with Luke before and called him up to help.

I feel like he did leave? But then came back? But that’s based on nothing haha

it was after Rey was left on Jakku and before Luke left which was seemingly 5ish years before TFA, if I recall correctly?

the mission would had to have been sometime 5-12 years prior to TFA or so?

How did Rey not use the dagger to kill Palpatine? I felt like they were setting that up the whole time

It sounded to me like they were referring to the people in Palpatine’s lair as the “Sith.” Did I misinterpret that?

It seems to me they were followers of the sith as a religion, rather than dark side force users as such

Was the Final Order the First Order? Or Palpatine’s own army?

After Rey lined it up with the Death Star 2, they put the prop away and forgot it existed.

I believe the Final Order was the fleet name? Not necessarily the people. The First Order kind of disappeared.

  22. If I spent thirty years making clone and extra clown Snokes to manipulate one boy in a convoluted plot ....

.... I’d have a better way to get the ships out of the planet and maybe have some hidden somewhere else too on other planets and yah know not be foiled by one ship or small antennae being destroyed for the billionth time.

This film is opening strong in foreign markets, with $59 million just from yesterday, which is slightly better than TLJ, but not near TFA.
Star Wars still does nothing in China, though.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even be mad if they did this.
