I read clone wars season one is released out of order, is that true? Or would I be fine to just watch it how it was released?

I would kind of love to see a Gungan.

    With no dialogue, of course.

Just rewatched ANH on D+ it’s the first time I’ve watched it in awhile and those edits are so distracting. My brother has an extra copy on VHS so I’m gonna pick those up off of him soon.

I'm holding out hope that, in the coming years (especially now that Disney owns Fox &, w/ it, all Star Wars rights), we will finally get the originals rereleased in some capacity. Especially since this allegedly happened in the summer:

Like, I could totally see Disney & Lucas finally allowing some kinda limited release around the 50th anniversary, which is only 7.5 years away now.

I’ve never seen the originals, only the 1997 special editions, so I’d like to see them

A New Hope (aka “Star Wars”) is the one I’d want the most. The current Blu-ray of Empire actually is quite good, & while Return was in some ways done dirtiest, the actual film isn’t one I’m as attached to. New Hope is my clear #2 & has some absurd additions. I’d kill to see the original pulpy adventure in high quality.

Random observation I had while recently watching the prequels: there is so much reverence placed in the sequels and the OT on Anakin's lightsaber as a sacred, almost sentient object. But in Attack of the Clones alone I'm pretty sure Anakin goes through like 2 or 3 lightsabers because he either keeps losing them or getting them destroyed. Which is further testament to how Lucas viewed lightsabers merely as useful tools/playthings for the Jedi instead of a symbolic extension of what it means to be a Jedi.

so much better than JJ likely shoehorning her in as a member of one of the central families

Yeah, as someone who doesn’t mind spoilers I would advise people who do care not to read that article. Does a lot of explaining what doesn’t happen, which by default kind of implies what does happen.

I guess. But the main point is, if anything plot point wise happens, it will be very different.

And thank god for that haha. JJ’s writing may be predictable and unoriginal sometimes, but CT is an awful writer. How he got a hold on Jurassic Park is beyond me.

Yea, it sounds like we dodged a bullet here.
