has anyone seen the Topher Grace prequel edit?

 

I also love cartoons, but I dislike the animation style of CW so much that I’ve never wanted to get into it.

 

Clone Wars is incredible and I will not tolerate this hate

 

I don’t like the animation style of Clone Wars & Rebels. Not my thing. I’ve watched some Maul, Vader, & Ahsoka compilations on YouTube, & I bought for $3 but haven’t watched yet the DVD Darth Maul Returns that edits like 4 episodes into one animated film. But, I can’t bring myself to actually sit through the actual series, as much as I respect the great characters & storylines.

I get economically why they couldn’t, but I would’ve loved if that original Clone Wars style, by that Samurai Jack artist.

 

Damn, some of you missing out on some of the best arcs in Star Wars. The highs in Rebels are as high as anything in any of the films.

 

I enjoy the prequels for different reasons between each movie. They’re not great but they’re still fun.

 

I need to watch clone wars and rebels now that I have Disney+ but it seems like so much stuff that it seems overwhelming to start and finish

 

Ahsoka is the best character in Star Wars and you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't watch Clone Wars and Rebels.

 

Watching that Canon Timeline video, there's soooooooooooooo much I wasn't aware of about this universe

 

It's not a disservice for different people to like different things, but it does bum me out that Star Wars animation doesn't overall clique w/ me 'cause Ahsoka is a character I'd love to spend more time with. Would love to see her adapted into another format. Not sure if adapted an animated character into something live action would be offensive to the fanbase, but she's probably the character I'd most like to see in a movie or on Disney+ or whatever (outside of maybe Aphra).

 

If there was an audio version I’m sure I would enjoy it, I just really can’t get past the look. That style and rotoscoping are both no gos for me. I’m not going to say it’s terrible like the prequels, it’s just not for me.

 

The animation is an acquired taste imo. I personally don’t mind it since the story makes up for it.

 

Start with Rebels unless you really like the prequels. Its shorter and , IMHO, far better and more engaging series. If you dig it, go back to explore the background of a lot on the Clone Wars.

 

I second the desire for Aphra in live action. I would love for her to show up in The Mandalorian.

 

The current rumor is an entire Disney+ series in development for her.

There is a recent TROS leak that states Ahsoka is one of the voices Rey hears during her confrontation with Palpatine.

 

You know who'd be dope casting for Aphra? Chloe Bennet.

Depending on when said show or whatever would take place, it'd also be cool if it gave us more live action Darth Vader while James Earl Jones is still around.

 

...I actually kinda want this to be real now.

 

Disney actually made that and someone slapped a AOT song with it.
