That might be my biggest disappointment with the sequel trilogy: we haven't gotten an iconic musical moment. Rey's theme is the only one that comes close so far

I dunno about that. Jedi Steps/AHch-to, March of the Resistance and Kylo's theme are all fantastic and melded into my brain at this point.

Did anyone here see Knives Out? I’m hoping there’s the newest TROS trailer in front of it.

Gotcha. Not a big deal I’ve obviously already seen the trailer, but would like to on the big screen before the release of the movie.

Just realized that Anakin/Obi-Wan fought each other above lava and that Rey/Ben are fighting each other above water. Such duality

I dunno, as someone who thinks the prequels are trash & adores TLJ... I don’t think I have any of the new themes in my head, but Duel of the Fates is in the same ballpark for me as some of the original themes. *shrug*

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I def have some of the new tunes in my head. Obviously I haven’t lived with them for decades like the OG, but some very memorable tariff for me.

I really dig the attack on Jakku music from the opening of 7.

I like Rey’s theme and the score with Kylo kills Han. Those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head. The prequels were stacked with memorable scores.

Off the top of my head Duel of the Fates is the only one I can actually remember and “sing” in my head.

Yeah, the sequel trilogy score is obviously good; John Williams couldn’t make a bad score if he tried. And, I can't get behind the idea that the prequels had overall better music. Duel of the Fates just happens to be a distinct, iconic, catchy piece of music that I can remember in a way that I don’t anything else outside of the few or so most iconic classic themes.

The score when Luke walks out to meet the first order is as powerful as any imo

Yea, I don’t mean to say any of the music from the prequels were bad or anything. But they weren’t that memorable outside of Duel of the Fates and maybe a small moment here or there.
