Judging by the red on those Star Destroyers, I'm going to guess there are Sith Troopers operating those ships.

The main Star Wars comic series (which I don't pay much attention to but seems to often be good) is relaunching in January w/ a new #1 (after a 75-issue run), shifting from post-New Hope to post-Empire. So if you have any interest in getting into comics, great jumping on point.

But, the real reason I'm posting this is 'cause this Jen Bartel Leia cover rules.

The main Star Wars comic has been stellar. The first Vader run as well.

This is honestly what I've been anticipating since TFA. I'm not bothered by the thought of them revisiting the subject in the last movie since that was obviously a part of her character's story since the beginning of the trilogy, but hopefully whatever the "answer" is, it's just done tastefully.

I honestly think the overarching story arc of the prequels (particularly Palpatine’s role) is REALLY interesting thematically... but unfortunately the execution just wasn’t there enough to make it resonate like it could have. People say the “boring political stuff” is a flaw in the prequels, but I honestly find the ideas presented in those sections some of the best parts of that trilogy. If the movies around the arc of Palpatine’s rise to power were better it could’ve been so cool.

As far as Rey’s parentage... I’m fine with whatever is decided as long as it’s done tastefully as others have mentioned. Clearly her search for her family has been a major theme throughout this trilogy, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes up again.

I can absolutely see how Canto Bight ties into the main plot in a storytelling sense... I guess my issue is more with the execution. I understand that it’s supposed to be a “mission that went nowhere”, but I think those scenes themselves being the least engaging of the movie (for me personally) doesn’t help, especially when it’s a plot line that doesn’t tie into the main plot until the climax, just for it to essentially be a failed mission that went nowhere. That’s just my opinion on it though.

I actually hadn’t considered it this way before, so thank you. I appreciate those of you who took the time to address my critiques. The Holdo scenes do make more sense to me now.

Lol it just feels like trolling the audience to me. I personally don’t find it very funny but fair enough to those who do!
