Can confirm a couple massive photo leaks. Be extra cautious.

just for the hell of it did a twitter search and found (2) photos that absolutely could easily be doctored/fake - so i'm not really considering them spoilery right now

for anyone who saw/is interested;

rey & kylo both wielding blue sabers
front shot of palpatine in his throne shooting lightening while rey stands in front

 

There appear to be so many leaks to this that I feel like J.J. is running his own misinformation campaigns from burner accounts.

 

Hopefully someone is keeping a list of all leaks, then after seeing the movie, indicates which were true and which were not. I would be curious.

 

Is there one where Zorii and Kylo hook up after her roommate drowns?

 

I want to go back and look at TFA and TLJ leaks to see how accurate they were (people in here have said TFA was accurate but TLJ wasn't), but I don't want to accidentally come across leaks for this in the process.

 

seeing that AMC theaters has this listed at a 155min running time, making it a 2hr 35min film, 3 minutes longer than TLJ, making it the longest SW film.

 

and we'll hear Vader's "noooo"

 

TLJ leaks were a train wreck. So many people got hyped from leaks that were not true.

 

Yeah, I got hyped off one that said Kylo and the Knights of Ren track down Rey and Luke on the island, as Rey and Kylo duel, Luke handily wrecks all of the KoR on his own (and with the green saber). You can imagine how disappointed I was when it didn't happen in the film.

 

Usually spoilers don't bother me at all, but the story for this Star Wars trilogy has been such a wild card the whole time that I don't see the fun in reading dry text that spells everything out ahead of time and then going to see this. I suppose if you aren't going to watch this but kinda wanna know what happens.

All of that being said though, I read the entire plots for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame and then watched them both and enjoyed the hell out of them, so I guess I am full of crap.

I suppose I am just a little more emotionally invested in Star Wars.

yeah i read all the infinity war and endgame leaks and didnt care, SW is different for me

 

I feel like people would have been upset if the Knights of Ren were dispatched like that in one movie. Would have just called them the Knights of Phasma or some shit.

 

i think Knights of Ren are what i'm most intrigued about in terms of "new" things in this movie

 

also we totally see dominic monoghan's character in the trailer behind Rose, feel like nobody brought that up

 

I’ll laugh so hard if Disney is “leaking” all this stuff to throw people off

 

I don't see him having a big part in this at all.

sounds like youre probably right lol

 

People said the same thing about TFA and all of those leaks ended up being true. I don't buy that a massive corporation would put that much energy into "throwing people off".

 

I also don’t see how a huge movie like this could have so many leaks. It’s like Disney isn’t even trying to contain it if they are legit

 

It leaks because people working on the movie know that there are people out there will have a strong reaction to anything they can get their hands on, so they risk their jobs to be popular with fans.

 

I get how it leaks but there are definitely ways Disney could prevent that. Like making anyone who will see footage place their phone outside of the room. But what do I know, I’m not the one that spent hundreds of millions to make the film lol

 

would be cool if he were like an evil deity of some type at this point
