I would argue that if you've been following the story closely and reading the signals right, that ending was all but inevitable. Let me just emphasize once again, The Reylos Were Right.

That's what I thought as well. Although with these movies, I'm never convinced that anything in the trailers isn't just a vision or something like that. haha. There's usually tons of misdirection at least.

This trailer got me pumped for this movie though (feels great hardly knowing anything about the plot of this one). I'll start getting into full blown Star Wars mode next month when the new series comes out.

 

the final scene of this movie has to be luke & leia force ghosts right into roll credits and everyone cries and gives standing ovations right?

It is a trailer. It's some moments that may or may not show up on the screen when we watch it. Like is it really worth making a nine minute video about it? The answer is no

 

at this point i'm just tuning it out, i already have the dweebs on my FB feed who hated TLJ coming out and criticizing this after a total of like 4 minutes of trailer footage between april and now. at this point nobodys gonna change their fragile little minds so i can't keep getting annoyed by it, but it's so hard not to lol

 

This happens with every blockbuster. Gotta get the clicks somehow

I'm re-watching the original trilogy again, and I kinda wish there was one scene of like "holy fuck we found a Jedi! shit yeah thought those dudes were dead!" from any of the rebellion soldiers haha
