All the feels from c3po and after in that trailer

 

The trailers have all been top notch so far, but this one is glorious. Actually, finally feels like this is the conclusion. I legitimately teared up when *that* score kicked in.

 

Someone explain to me the joy of reading a leak. I just couldn’t imagine wanting the movie ruined like that

 

There’s just some stuff I don’t care about spoilers.

 

Internet culture has made me so numb to spoilers, because usually everyone guesses every possibly outcome about a movie or show that they end up being right eventually.

 

Also just got to work and our sales for Thursday night are abysmal. Haha.

 

Reading spoilers wont affect how I enjoy the film. It usually causes me to get hyped if I like what the spoilers contain and then it’s magnified during the experience of watching the scenes.

 

Let's not get into the spoilers argument. Some people don't care, some people do. Just keep the leaks out of here or spoiler tagged at the minimum.

 

The C3PO scene is good, but it seems a little odd he’s saying goodbye to his friends, when I can’t remember C3PO even interacting much with Rey or Finn, mostly Poe. It seems like most of his friends, other than R2 and Chewie, are already dead.

 

I agree, and someone on twitter i saw post this thought as well. 3po hasnt spent nearly enough time with these new folks for that scene to really hold the emotional weight - theres something else going on there.

 

I think I know what 3PO is up to

 

because of a leak, or you're speculating? if speculating, do share, if it's due to a leak, i'll decline hah

 

My girlfriend love spoilers, she will read the last page of a book before she even starts the damn thing. Her explanation is that she doesn't care if she knows what happens, she just wants to see how the characters get to whatever is spoiled for her and hopes it's well done.

 

yeah i mean, personally i'm avoiding spoilers for this (and most things) but accidentally knowing a spoiler has never ruined a movie for me. it may make the scene less startling or surprising, but idk, if that's how you want to consume media go for it. for example, if i knew han solo died going into TFA it wouldn't have made that scene any less emotional for me.

Yeah I think my girlfriend is crazy for that, but I'm just saying there are sociopaths who don't care if they are spoiled with stuff.


Don't wanna derail the convo, trailer looks awesome and I'm pumped, I hope this movie is really long as well I love these characters.

 

Still no Knights of Ren. Also basically nothing from Kijimi, so I think there's still plenty we haven't seen one bit of from. I'm hyped.

still nervous about how Palpatine is going to be handled though, tbh

 

another thing i noticed is that, them destroying the helmet, doesn't look like it's happening in a battle or struggle. if you watch rey after it happens, she doesn't recoil as if she's about to strike again, she sort of relaxes and begins to stand straight, while kylo looks to reach for his mask. if i had to guess, it's sort of a symbolic "lets destroy it together" sort of thing.

i don't really know why, but i'm less and less concerned about this by the day. i think it's gonna be fine.

 

The one-shot where in this where it's probably him looks like he's walking towards her in some robotic chair or Mecha-Palps contraption. It's probably not that but it's the only shot that made me nervous.

 

I can't find tickets anywhere and I want to cry forever.

 

Yea, it definitely looks like they're destroying it together. Which if they are teaming up again, it seems surprising that they'd put a shot like that in the trailer.
