Already the pre-haters for no reason are out. High school dude on my Facebook shared the trailer just to say he won't be seeing the movie, and not giving Disney a cent of his money.

Damn, poor Disney.

 

Also this looks hype and I'll do all the crying.

Midnight screenining tickets booked. Us Aussies are so lucky to get it early, fuck yessss.

My thoughts exactly. It's funny more than anything.

 

If the last scene has the feels of the finale in ROTJ, with gigantic celebrations all over the galaxy, and force ghosts galore that would be the greatest fucking thing.

 

The IMAX theater I bought tickets at had a 3:45 showing that's 3D. I bought the 6:00 showing that's not 3D. Also I'm pretty sure the 3:45 showing was a members only one. Stoked to see this. I need to watch the trailer again.

 

This desperately needs grand finale feels, which the trailer seems to suggest

I don't want to go in knowing much, so I've been in this thread sparingly, but I watched the trailer and it's glorious. I also got tickets for the 19th for 6 pm and 10:05, I can't wait. First time seeing a Star Wars film in theaters with the wife. Can't wait.

 

an hour and 45 minutes is just BB-8 walking set to various pop songs

thanks! My dad's birthday was on Saturday and he's been down there at the hospital with my brother for about a week now, just waiting for him to wake up. I broke down watching the video of him waking up.

Also yes this trailer is amazing! Y-Wings!!!!!!

 

This did feel like the most plot heavy of the Disney SW trailers. That being said I bet it’s a fuck ton of misdirection.

so this basically confirms the leaks, right? which..... i didn’t hate as much as some but doesn’t inspire a ton of goodwill imo

 

it will be a good movie imho

 

There’s really only one part I hate about the leaks, but I’m hoping they just don’t have all the details about that specific scene since they even said their details about the third act were sparser.
