This happened with The Last Jedi. I remember I couldn't get a showing until like 9pm opening night b/c everything before had sold out already by the time the tickets were "supposed" to go on sale.

There was a time where the only place to stream the original trilogy without all the Lucas edits was on pornhub and it was pretty hilarious. I would assume all the articles written about it meant they were taken down though.

lol i did but then they told me i couldn't rip my own dvd into a digital form so i'd have to buy it a second time and well, fuck that noise all the way off.

theaters have their showings up now (for the most part that ive seen) but tickets arent supposed to be officially available until halftime of tonights game, so like 930/10pm
