While I hope this one in particular isn't wrong, that's not really true that none of the "rumor confirmed" articles end up being right. There were multiple things that were predicted about the trailer and whatnot that ended up being right.

Wow, I missed that one, but I am glad I did. That would be catastrophically stupid.

Probably my main criticisms of these films overall is how they have really worked to make the entire galaxy seem about as big as a podunk town as opposed to serving to really open the world up and expand it in a meaningful and creative way.

 

Yeah, slightly spoilerish based on those rumors, but: if they think Star Wars is great because of slowly exposing who people are related to, then I'm going to lose interest and love for them pretty quickly.

 

hopefully the new trilogy will completely be seperated in that regard

if it doesnt, by that point it would really temper my expectations personally

Come on guys, you know Rey's father is C-3PO. It'll all make sense in the movie when they explain why his arm is gold again.

 

C3PO’s red arm was one of the weirdest choices ever.

 

was there ever a book or comic that explained the red arm?

 

I liked the red arm; it was an unexpected and unusual thing but not crazy enough to cause disruption or anything.

Plus, it aesthetically looked cool to me.
