Palpatine does have the best voice/laugh in the game tho.

And also the best evil plan ever. And actually was the most effective. It’s nice seeing the villain actually like...brilliant. And seeing him subtly pull strings on both sides all throughout the prequels and Clone Wars is incredible.

I haven't seen those. Were they in TLJ thread? Quote em!

Cost prohibitive and would be shot down.

Jedi aren’t supposed to use the force for violence like that. Yoda explains all that to Luke and why they don’t use it to attack.

So what's Kylo's main drive nowadays? He killed and then became the Supreme Leader at the end of The Last Jedi, so it shows his only immediate goal is just snuffing out Rey and everyone with the Resistance. But even then, he doesn't seem like someone who just wants to rule the First Order in order to have all the power as some kind of generic ruler. He wants to become the most powerful Sith or "whatever you want to call it" ever but to what end? What does he want to do once he gets to that point?

I hope we get some answers to stuff like this in TROS.

I mean Yoda doesn’t tell Luke in TLJ but obi wan In empire says he can’t get involved.

From TLJ it seems like he took Rey not joining him as a betrayal and yeah, just seems like on rage mission to destroy her and the resistance. That is why I don't want him just to "turn good". I dig all that.

    “The greatest teacher, failure is”

“We can bring a new order to the galaxy”
“Finish what you started.” To Vader which I guess could mean a lot of different things

I’m sure we’ll get some more though

I see what y'all are saying but I don't think I feel that he simply just wants to be a ruler. He wants something more. Is there something more to life than that to him? What could that possibly be?

These are obviously deeper and more philosophical questions that might not even be able to be answered. Idk

Oh....well that doesn't make it any better in my mind. Seems like the movie just contradicted that and opened up something that shouldn't have been because it "looked cool".

Anakin built C-3PO making him a Skywalker. It's now obvious that he's the Skywalker rising.

You are correct. The journey of red arm to getting his gold arm back better be the bulk of the story for Ep 9 so he can take on the First Order.

  17. I forget what the place is called in Rebels, but Palpatine was searching for a way to get to that place where he could cross timelines. Not suggesting that is what Kylo is after, but there are things in the force beyond having power / eliminating the Jedi and Sith.

Oh yes that’s more important. I meant specifically for force ghosts not getting involved

I think it also could speak to the fact that Kylo is never going to get what he's looking for even if he literally rules the entire galaxy or universe or whatever. I don't think he even know what he wants or needs or how to get it.

  22. If you don't want to invest a ton of time, I think watching the Mortis arc in The Clone Wars series and then the episodes "Wolves and a Door" and "A World Between Worlds" from Rebels would be interesting for you

For the last Jedi? I mean it’s different Yoda wasn’t attacking any one. That’s what obi one was saying. I can’t get involved with your fight with Vader. Yoda used the lightening to help Luke let go

He attacked that house! It never stood a chance. Those poor books.

Even though I'm making jokes, I do get your point though :-)
