It's gonna be hilarious if Abrams brings Luke back to life

 

That would be terrible.

 

As much as I dislike Luke being dead, he needs to stay dead. If Star Wars starts to bring back dead characters (force ghosts do not count) then that will be another step to not feeling like Star Wars. I'd like to see a Ghost Luke re-enact with Rey or Ben.

 

But there's been people so powerful with the force that they could bring the dead back to life... Right? I actually toyed with the idea of Luke being so powerful that he could re-manifest himself.

 

I don't care if he comes back either way as I have 0 investment in these new films. It just seems like a very Abrams move. But I doubt he'll step on Rian's toes much

 

I definitely want him to just be a force ghost. The Last Jedi have me the final action that I wanted out of him. I also adore TLJ so much and I'm glad they broke the formula.

 

Luke being alive would be stupid.

 

Actually, with Leia somehow surviving in the vacuum of space, I wouldn’t find it too far fetched for Luke to bring himself back from the dead.

Why would people think that JJ would bring Luke back to life?

Also, why do people not have confidence in JJ? He rebooted the franchise after how many years and made a great installment of the franchise (yes with flaws of course), created some of the best characters in the franchise, etc. He isn't going to shit all over Rian Johnson's work in TLJ.
