Anybody else order the poster with tickets? Site was down last night when I tried so I just went back and got mine.

 

Yep, the site was very slow, but I managed to pick one up! Shipping was only like 6 bucks so I'm happy.

 

just watched it another 3x on my lunch break.

one of the first scenes where Kylo has his mask on, and looks to be kneeling in the red room picking up his saber, it looks like he's surrounded by other figures, like he's in some sort of council. could be a flashback, but i'm more interested in that now.

 

Do you think Luke is referencing Vader when he talks about not being afraid of raw strength? He straight up tells Yoda he isn't afraid and Yoda says "You will be."

 

my gut reaction was that he was talking about Vader. But after a few watches and then coming on here, it really could be Snoke or Rey. I think the only person it definitely isn't referencing is Kylo.

 

Pretty sure that's Snoke's throne room and those are the Praetorian guards. It seems to be the same room as later with Snoke and Rey.

I initially wondered if he could be picking it up to help Rey, but I think it's more likely this is from his training Snoke spoke about in TFA.

 

you know the more I watch this trailer and think about what could possibly be happening in this movie, the more I think this is heading towards a redemption story of Kylo Ren. At least in this movie. It would be interesting to see him possibly killed off but I think that's an extreme thought.

 

That's interesting, I really didn't consider Vader. Why do you think it's not Kylo? That's who I initially thought it was. Is it because it would be too obvious to be him?

 

That's the vibe I'm catching. I really hoped he'd be totally irredeemable, but maybe that wouldn't be the best story telling.

 

I thought the most obvious line of thinking was actually Vader. I don't honestly have a legitimate reason to think it isnt Kylo, I just think LUke has probably come in contact with much stronger/fiercer enemies than him. It's also important to note that we have no idea who he is talking to in that scene. It looks like Rey based on the following shot but it definitely could not be.

 

I think Kylo succeeds in his mission of “bring me the girl”. Dunno how Luke lets this happen, but perhaps it’s the very thing that makes him leave ach-to. I’m curious how cliffhangery this one will end. If it ends with Rey in captivity I’ll lose my mind.

 

I love the black scar / transfer or whatever on Kylos face.

 

Would love it if "This isn't going to go how you think" is a Luke to Kylo line, if Kylo succeeds in coming to AchTo to take Rey.

That line feels so badass to me. I really want it to be in regards to a battle of some sort.

 

hoping we also at least get a nice quick chewie and luke reunion right at the beginning because it seems pretty obvious the falcon leaves to go elsewhere on other adventures

 

Nah this is just a meta line of Mark Hamill telling us that we won't be able to figure anything out
