Getting tickets was so much easier this time. Got a good seat for a 2D IMAX showing at 7:00 on the 14th, and I didn't even have to deal with Fandango because the closest AMC to me didn't even have showtimes listed there for some reason.

 

First Dan Mumford poster for AMC/IMAX 12/17, pretty neat. I know the TFA ones were very popular.

I definitely feel like some of the lines are out of context. Great trailer

 

so are we all assuming that snoke is talking to Rey in the opening dialogue of the trailer, and not Kylo? "when I found you I found raw untameable power" etc.
has it been completely ruled out or discussed that Rey is not lineage of Ledi but of Sith or Dark Side? and that the powers she has in her are evil but shes going to use them for good because she doesnt know the difference
and that Snoke definitely knows who Rey is because she was hidden or taken from him when she was a child, because whoever her parents or guardians were didnt want her to live that life, which makes even more sense now during that scene in TFA when Snoke is all like "if shes doing what you say shes doing then bring her to me now"...he knows its her

Yea, there was stuff all over my feeds and I decided I’d rather see it and hear the lines myself rather than constantly stumble upon quotes and just read them for the first time.

I honestly hope we don’t. At most, we may see some sort of visual if there is a funeral of any kind. Otherwise, I think his time is done.

 

If The Last Jedi does literally open where The Force Awakens left off (instead of the usual passage of time between episodes), then having some sort of burial ceremony as one of the first scenes could be a reasonable and pretty cool scene. There's absolutely nothing remotely implying we'll get one, but it's not a crazy idea or anything. Could work thematically. It'd certainly be weird seeing a now deceased actor eulogizing a still living actor if that happens. Certainly a fun random idea to entertain.
