I don’t want to, but the biggest screen and best theater is only offering it in 3D at 6:00 PM on the 14th.

Bought a 7:20 ticket with no issues. I'll decide for sure if I'm actually hoofing it alone (spoiler: probably) in December.

 

This was quick and easy unlike last time. Didn't realize I bought it for the 3D showing because I was too excited. That never goes well with me wearing glasses.

Not at the closest theatre downtown that has it. Super annoying.

 

Nope. The big big Regal theatre downtown doesn't have assigned seating. It's bullshit. Haha.

It's why I like all the other theaters better.

 

ah ok, wasn't aware of this. I'm trying to grab tickets for Bagdad again like I did for TFA, so also having to figure how early

 

make a day of it, lawn chairs and margaritas in water bottles outside the theater starting at 2pm with pizza delivery at some point.

I like it a lot, plus even the crappy seats are still pretty good. Also last year for the opening night of TFA they did a costume contest where winners got free weekends at a bunch of Mcmenamins locations and you could tell they were anticipating more participants with better costumes. So the result was everyone who participated got a free weekend at one of their hotels and a bunch of free shit no matter how pretty bad their costumes were. Really hoping they didn't learn from that mistake ha

 

I don't even understand how it's possible to avoid a trailer for something this big. It's going to play before every movie. It's going to play before every youtube video. Footage of it will be on most commercial breaks. I'm just going to watch it, it's not worth the stress.

Seriously, dude showed up wearing a sheet and honey buns taped to his head and gets 2 nights at the Grand Lodge. Was so completely absurd

 

I'm too weak. I'm gonna watch the trailer. I'd rather watch the trailer than avoid it only to see gifs/screencaps from it all over social media.

 

Took my girlfriend to a midnight showing last time and she fell asleep before Max Von Sydow got wacked. Held a grudge for prob two weeks haha
