nothing too exciting, but definitely not bad, and absolutely an improvement over Trevorrow. All around good news.

 

I would have loved to see Rian writing it though. Of course, I definitely want to see more original films from Johnson too. So if this free's him up to do that, I'm all for it.

 

Did everyone in here like Looper?

I've always thought that was a pretty cool movie

JJ is a safe bet, so this isn't too surprising. I love TFA, so I'm hopeful for IX. Would've been cool to see a more interesting replacement, though.

 

Except for JGL's nose, Looper was awesome
