Rian Johnson also tweeted that there's no spoilers in the toys and that he worked with marketing to be very careful about it, just in case anyone was worried.

 

That's cool.

 

As cool as dark side BB-8 is, I remember seeing an evil R2D2 in the run up to Rogue One that didn't get any screen time if I recall. So we'll see if this one is in the film much.

 

He got a Funko Pop. Was he even in the movie?

 

I don't think it was. I just remember seeing some press release for it.

 

Nothing like some retail therapy.

Bought 6 Black series. (Whole first wave minus storm trooper)
5 Funko pops (Luke, Rey, chewie, Kylo, and Walmart exclusive Leia)
3 of the normal 3.75 (Rey, Luke, Kylo)
1 of the 12(?) inch cheap figures (Rey)

 

Tomorrow, I'll be picking up the Leia and Phasma books.

I'll probably buy at least one LEGO set, but I should hold off as I will have an opportunity to get them half off in December. The BB-8 looked cool. As did the star destroyer.

Maybe I'll pick up another Pop or 2.

 

I have no idea why I am in line right now. The toys are going to be sold out. However I am enjoying the ridiculous conversations I am hearing.

 

So glad I live where I do. I walked into Walmart at 11:59 and went back and had the whole section to myself.

 

Someone talk me out of spending $200 on the Sphero R2-D2

I bought the BB-8 one in 2015 and haven't used it too much but this is calling to me

My walmart was sold out of stuff at 10:30. They sold everything before it was supposed to go on sale. Idiots

 

Got the Vader at Walmart, looks snazzy (glad they went with repackaging the 40th anniversary version), but could not find a good Rey. Bummed. Hoping Target will pull through tonight.

Went to grab some pops on the way to work but friggin Target doesn't open til 8 so, maybe later.

 

Got the two Black Series figures I wanted, might pop by a Target later and see what else I want to impulsively grab once I see things in person.

 

update: saw a plush porg at target and it makes noise and it's cute and i bought it and i think i love porgs now
