I wonder if we get a trailer this month. Rogue One did trailers in April, August and October. Force Awakens did November, April, October. If it follows the pattern we should get one soon. Or maybe we just wait it out until October?

I see it being release on TV around then, with the purpose (outside of promoting the movie itself, of course) having the trailer showing in theaters for Thor.

I'm trying to get pumped for this film but it's difficult. I don't know why but a lot of the new creatures, especially the force-sensitive ones, just don't scream "Star Wars" to me and seem like something I would see in The Neverending Story.

 

I'm trying to contain my expectations haha. I love the characters they set up in TFA and I have 100% confidence in Rian Johnson.

My biggest fear is that it'll be too much like Empire. I'm sure it'll be similar in some ways, I just hope it's not a carbon copy.

 

Maybe Luke will lose his other hand

 

Luke by the end of this trilogy:

 

I just realized that's basically what Anakin is at the end of the prequel trilogy.

 

Hmmm... Apparently the EW article reveals that Luke thought Kylo was the true chosen one.

It's very much a part of ep1-6, so I get it, but I also kind of wish that whole prophecy would be left in the past.

 

But how could Luke ignore the lightning mark scar on Kylo's head? I would have made the same mistake.

 

But he wasn't born as the 7th month died.

 

Not sure if anyone here is enrolled, but Disney Movie Rewards just put up the TLJ Teaser 2 Theatrical Poster for you to redeem (if you have the points obvs). If you aren't, it's really easy and I'd recommend it.

 

The story is getting too confusing. I thought Luke was the chosen one, then Anakin, and now neither. Some parts of the first 6 films should be left alone. There's no need to drag them out any further just to have throwbacks.
