Idk, im tryig not to read too into anything i see in a sizzle reel or teaser, because i feel like at this point they're not trying to put anything in these promo materials that are going to give away any major plot points.

Its definitely fun to theorize, but im not letting myself get too far ahead of it.

I'm pretty excited to see what is released for Force Friday. Only a month and half to go. Sneak peak:

Also, not sure if it was mentioned but a pinball game leaked and features some of the new elite guards.

Yeah the Hasbro face sculpts are hit or miss, but I'm still totally getting the Rey.

Obviously John Williams is amazing, and I know that in this main trilogy they can't stray from the formula too much, but I think it would have been really rad to have Nathan Johnson compose this score. I thought his work on Looper was fantastic and, given the fact that that movie took place in a rustic lived-in future, I think it would translate well to this world.

It's not a plot detail or anything, just an aesthetic observation.

It looks exactly the same as from 7. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

Well, it's not a hologram so it's just way more detailed and clear. And his neck was covered before I think.

I know it was a hologram in VII, but am I the only one who thought Snoke wasn't human? He looks human as hell now. Deformed, sure, but human. Weird

I'm not going to look at it, but this is disappointing to hear. One of my least favorite things in TFA was Snoke. CG wasn't great for me. Oh well.

So I was watching a podcast, and they mention how Hamill doesn't care for the things Johnson did with his character in this movie? Is this true? It's news to me...

    Not necessarily a bad thing.

“I was quoted as saying to Rian that I fundamentally disagree with everything you decided about Luke, and it was inartfully phrased. What I was, was surprised at how he saw Luke. And it took me a while to get around to his way of thinking, but once I was there it was a thrilling experience. I hope it will be for the audience too.”

So this insinuates that the director(s) actually have some say in the over arching plot of SW? We were wondering and discussing this a little months back.

Rian has gone on record (around the time of the Miller/Lord dismissal) saying he had as much creative control over TLJ as any of his films.
