I normally get them on Amazon. It will probably be a few months before they are available. I got the Rey, Kylo, and Jyn character posters a few months after each movie came out.

 

John Boyega's instagram stories are hilarious. Love that he's in these films.

The trailer didn't do much for me but man, the behind the scenes footage got me hyped. I really hope this movie is fucked up.

Could you link to where they hint at a "twist" or some sort of reveal? Didn't get a chance to watch the panel earlier.

I've had a "stretch theory" about The Last Jedi for a while based on things we know from the previous movie, and the little bits of confirmed info we've gotten from the teaser and other sources. I've told some SW-loving friends my theory and some think it could be really interesting, while others think it's too implausible. Like I said, I myself think it's a "stretch" and I actually DON'T think it's likely for a few reasons, but as far as I've been able to surmise it does fit with everything we know so far. That's why when there was rumors of a "huge reveal" from those Japanese promo materials a while back I couldn't help but get a little excited haha.

 

Just to add something to my thoughts... for as much as I've thoroughly enjoyed TFA and Rogue One, I actually think this movie NEEDS to be the one to do something truly bold and unexpected for the franchise. It doesn't necessarily have to be an Empire "I am your father" reveal (my theory leans more towards the "shocking twist"), but something that really changes what we know about this trilogy's universe in a substantial way. While I don't want this movie to be an Empire clone, I think as the middle entry it could aspire to be LIKE Empire in certain ways, i.e. being the movie that really takes some risks and expands the universe. And I'm fully hoping that Rian Johnson was brought on for that exact reason.

 

Honestly I've never posted my theory in here, not even spoiler tagged, because I thought people would think it was too stupid or implausible, or unlikely for other reasons. And it's not really fully formed because there's a lot we obviously don't know about this movie. But if anyone IS curious I could spoiler tag it for shits and giggles, or message it to whoever cares.

 

I'm down to hear any theory lol.

 

LOST kind of ruined fan theories for me. They generally focused on one random idea based on one minor aspect and disregarded so much of what was already revealed. Which made the theories just awful. I honestly just have no interest in elaborate fan theories because of that time.

I like small idea theories. Like, we saw Daisy training to fight 3 people at once. Possibly the Knights of Ren? It would make sense, but it could be a new group of people.

That's just me though. I wouldn't want to say, "don't post fan theories", but I just can't take them seriously.

 

Watch that behind the scenes clip that was posted a page or two back on here. They reference big changes or something similar.

 

Ah, yeah I just watched that finally and it IS in the clip itself. Honestly this seems to be lining up with exactly what I wanted, a movie that takes potentially some big narrative risks and does things that are truly unexpected.

Kylo killing han is a total 'snape kills dumbledore' situation, he did it to maintain deep cover and he really wants to take down Snoke.
