Oh hell naw, the entire TLJ BAD group are awful and have been awful since day one. These people are still big mad about a movie that everyone else is fine with and they still take every chance they can take to talk about how much they hate it on anything they think is “SJW” or “PC”. Vastly worse.

 

Yeah, if nothing else I'd rather listen to TROS haters cause their complaints tend to be like "oh wow this movie is rushed garbage" or "holy shit disney didn't plan any of this" or just laughing about the atmosphere shields, TLJ haters tend to jump into that anti-SJW nonsense real fast and no thanks forever on that

The one I love is the bombing in the beginning because there’s no gravity in space but sound effects, visible lasers, and fire in space is a-OK.

Holdo sidelined Poe, which, you know, was so emasculating
Luke's character was "ruined"

People hate on TROS because:
it is bad

The only good star wars thread is the general one

 

There’s exactly one person I know who hated The Last Jedi & doesn’t suck (in one way or another) at talking about movies.

That one person is just awesome enough a guy to make me not throw all people who are critical of the movie under the bus... but, there being only one that I’ve personally encountered certainly says a lot about Star Wars fandom.

 

I love talking about this movie, flaws especially, with people who want to talk about the plot, themes, acting, etc., I just tune out when it becomes "Rian hates your childhood" and that's really all I've ever encountered in my real life :/

 

Yeah I rewatched TLJ recently and honestly did not like it the 2nd time around, but the hate is still overblown and for very bad reasons

 

I guess I just don't get why people can't not like a thing and...shut up about it?
