  1. I assumed it was Vader's too, especially since you can hear his breathing when it shows the mask.

I think I'm growing into someone you can trust

    Love love love.

To nerd out for a moment, I think this movie is when we'll see the beginning of Luke trying to establish a grey-area of force users - not Sith, not Jedi. After all he's seen since Tatootine, he's seen that both extremes doesn't solve any problems. Maybe he tries to train Rey in some of both sides and maybe that causes a tension between the two of them.

During the panel about TLJ at Celebration, Daisy talked about how you shouldn't meet your heroes because they'll inevitably fall short of expectations. Could be huge.

Also at the panel, Boyega said that Finn is at a crossroads after recovering in this movie - that he needs to decide if he'll join the Resistance or return to the First Order. Seems crazy to me that that is still up in the air for Finn, but it definitely seems like Johnson is bringing in a lot of moral dilemmas for the main characters.

Def agree with the first paragraph. The Jedi seemed to see everything in black and white in a galaxy full of grey. Perhaps Luke's intention with starting a new academy was to create a new generation of Force users that transcend the simplicity of Jedi/Sith boundaries.

I took that as to mean he's still deciding whether he wants to fight in this war for the Resistance, or keep running from the First Order. There's no way he's contemplating returning to them, right?

I think it was if he'll join the resistance or continue to run away. I highly doubt the First Order would be welcoming him back anyway.

He definitely meant join the resistance, or flee the First Order, not join them.

I'm guessing I've watched it 10-15. I will probably watch it ten more times before the day is done.

There is a Vaddr breath followed immediately by Kylo's theme. Haha so it threw me. But upon repeat viewings the eye left intact was too small to be Vader. Gotta be Kylo mask.

It was only natural to wondeif my hype would naturally diminish given the circumstances surrounding Episode 7 were so unique.

I was on the edge of my seat and grinning the whole panel, and from the second that Josh asked Rian if he brought anything for the crowd, I had that same magical feeling that is so specifically Star Wars.

I think it's fair to say that as long as they keep doing these movies right, I'll be here as happy and excited as I was when I was a kid.

Can the internet hurry up and mix this trailer with Kendrick's new album so I can stop pausing one to view/listen to the other?

Luke is definitely going to be teach Rey to be in that grey area of the force. Him saying "it's so much bigger" after Rey says "The balance" is a pretty big clue to that.

Also, I want to see Phasma just be a ruthless killer in this. Definitely a wasted character in TFA that has potential to be a badass.

    I honestly can't wait!

Can't wait for more of Luke and to see how his character has developed since ROTJ.

I'm a little disappointed Kylo Ren is still using that lightsaber. I was expecting him to maybe get Vaders?

  22. Rian seems to have a very distinctive style. I couldn't help but be reminded of Fly and Ozymandias from Breaking Bad during the entire trailer.

It's just a teaser trailer so who knows what the movie will be like, but what was shown was pretty fucking gorgeously photographed.
