Trailer was good. December can't come soon enough.

 

I wonder how much John Boyega is gona be in this. Hope he's not just in a hospital all movie

 

Bet we'll see those posters on ebay for exorbitant prices in a few days or so

 

I'm like obsessed with how John Williams has tied together all of the movies thematically in his music can't wait to hear more of that here.

Trailer is awesome, further confirms my believe on the plot of the movie

 

It looks different, which is a very good thing.

 

He's pretty active in the movie, don't worry.

What a good poster

 

I'm guessing the Resistance base is being destroyed by the First Order at the beginning and in the chaos, a comatose Finn is being left behind. But then Rose (Kelly Marie Tran's maintenance worker character) saves him. Her, Poe, BB-8 and unconscious Finn escape and then Finn will wake up sometime in the 2nd act.

 

Looks like it's mostly from the very, very beginning of the film. Poster is amazing!!

 

I'm very interested in whatever those podracer-looking speeders are

 

I liked it. I want to see a lot of Luke and Rey.

 

The shot of them rushing towards the AT-AT's is downright beautiful.

 

Trailer music is great, like always. I think my favorite arrangement of the Force theme is from the last TFA trailer

 

Spent so much time wondering what the hell those were I missed the AT-ATs.

 

Anyone notice how incredibly similar this teaser starts compared to the first TFA teaser? Finn wakes up gasping in the desert in the first shot much like Rey is gasping in this first shot.

Also, in the scene where Poe's ship is blowing up, you can see an A-Wing to the left side of the screen (around 1:24).

 

The shot of Rey training on the mountain and the red smoke coming from those ships were both so good.

 

If you listen closely, when Rey is saying "light, darkness, the balance", you can hear Leia, Obiwan, and Yoda whispering "help me obiwan kenobi..." "consumed by the darkness", "tragedy"? (unsure on yoda's quote).

 

That was my first thought haha

 

Damn. Need to watch again at home with good speakers.

 

The scene with Rey and all the rocks rising around her hand is very Looper-esque

 

Yea, I immediately thought of the final scene in the corn field when everything is being suspended in air by Cid.

 

Sweet lord this film is going to be so good. The poster is full of amazing symbolism.

Yoda's comments in ROTJ are even more interesting now:

"Luke...when gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be."

Questions I now have after watching the trailer and seeing the poster:

- So has Luke transcended the light/dark aspects of the Force?

- Is Rey the true balance to the Force? Will she have to kill Luke and Kylo to truly bring about balance, or will Luke die in a more fan service type form as a throwback to A New Hope? Seems unlikely Luke dies at the hands of Kylo or Rey. Snoke possibly? In any case, it does seem like Luke is a gonner.

- Are we going back to Tatooine?

- What will the end goal now become for the First Order?
