To be fair, some of us have been discussing it since the very early hours of Friday morning and have said A LOT. so, at this point, we are throwing out random stuff that we hadn’t seen yet or find amusing.

But feel free to start a discussion or ask questions of everyone here about what they loved or something. I’m sure many would jump in.

 

Does anyone use Ashoka's reverse-grip in any of the movies? Rey briefly does while training.

 

Ventress in Clone Wars maybe? i dont think in the movies though. Also I dont think Ashoka would transfer well to movies. Ashley's voice needs to be there IMO and I dont think shed pull of a live action ashoka. Plus I think her story will wrap in Rebels.

I want it to wrap up in Rebels... but there are only like 7 episodes left and they are incredibly tightly focused on Kanan and Lothal.

 

That wasn’t in either movie, right? My fanhood doesn’t yet extend to the books.

 

Yeah I have no idea what they are going to do with only 7 episodes and seemingly a lot of things to cover.There cannot be any filler droid episodes like in the past. Im hoping its not just like a one episode thing with Ashoka. Any predictions with Ezra? The character to me has been all over the place and could probably go in any direction.

 

Yeah its in the Phasma book. Understandable. Theres a lot of books. But from the ones Ive read I do recommend start getting into it, even audiobooks.

 

Yea, no cool down episodes this season. I don’t think Ahsoka is coming back. I am
Hoping it gets picked up in another medium or show.

I could see Ezra going out to save Lothal. But that seems to be Kanan’s Destiny. So who knows?

 

I read an interesting theory about kanans old master being involved with the Loth wolfs and expect his story to end tied to the wolves. Maybe becomes one? Idk.

Interesting take on Ashoka. I assumed she would but Felonies shirt says Ashoka lives but not that she’ll be back. I think the whole Sister from Mortis aspect and the owl-bird thing(forgot the name) that’s been around is so intriguing and can’t wait to see how that comes to fruition.

Yea, I am fairly confident Vader gave into his “weakness” and let Snips slip away. But I don’t see her returning at this point.

 

I'd rather have a spinoff movie about the kid from TLJ with the broom. Star Chores.

 

Do any of the streaming services have Star Wars Rebels?

 

I think it’s only through Disney XD, or Disney Now... whatever they call it these days.

Favorite moments of TLJ? Im being a little more specific because some of these are in the same scene just spread out.

1. Kylo and Rey fighting the Praetorian Guards
2. Luke vs. Kylo/Luke Reveal/Death
3. Hyperspace Kamizake
These three will definitely change a lot as time goes on.

4.Yoda and Luke
5. Snoke talking to Rey/Kylo killing Snoke
6. Luke talking to Leia
7.Lukes 1st lesson explaining the Force
8. Rey not Joining Kylo/Lightsaber split
9. Sequence of Reys acid trip/Talking to Kylo about it and touching hands
10. Lukes 2nd explaining why the Jedi Failed/his school failed/ his legend

Honorable Mention: Opening Battle/ Poes mutiny / Luke vs. Rey / Luke and R2/ Crait speeders attack with March of the Resistance theme playing / 1st time Kylo and rey connect / Chewy guilty about the Porgs.

and i feel like im missing some. Theres seriously too much. Whats crazy is as much as I love TFA Id probably choose most of these over my favorite moments of that movie.

 

In absolutely no order, and this is just the tip of what I loved... I’m gonna try to pick smaller moments....

-Yoda messing with Luke one last time about the books.
-Rey being so utterly hopeful that she could help turn Kylo back to Ben. Her sincere and earnest disappointment when she has to go, “Ben, don’t do this” as he asks her to join him.
-when the door to Luke’s place gets knocked down and you think Rey used the force on it, but Chewie comes in all like, “get off your ass, Luke!”
-“Rebel scum”
-“save those you love, don’t fight what you hate”
-Leia slapping the shit out of Poe
-the audio drop Out
-the reaction R2 gives Luke when he scolds him for playing Leia’s old message.
-the porgs that made a nest on the Falcon
-all the little clues that show that Luke wasn’t really in Craitt

I would like to see a stand alone movie bout a Jedi to see some lightsaber mastery, but not Ahsoka as much as I love her.
