There is already a genera thread for non movie stuff, that is probably the best place for most of what will come out.

Understandable. So what panels are everyone looking forward to?

I mean, that's just my suggestion. Just feels weird to make a thread for something that mostly fits in pre existing threads. But if someone makes a new one, please link it.

I'm most looking forward to TLJ footage (it's gotta happen, right?), any and all Rebels info, book announcements, and hopefully the next Black series stuff.

I'm least interested in the Solo movie. It has an INSANE cast, but I just can't seem to get excited about it.

Yeah, I'd say TLJ footage is all but confirmed. As for me though, I'm interested to see why Lucasfilm is making such a big deal about making sure we watch the 40th Anniversary panel. Maybe they'll announce a future movie? Obi-Wan Standalone? They've got me intrigued, that's for sure.

I guess I haven't been paying attention to the buzz. In that context, I hope we FINALLY get a legit bluray release of the original cuts of the OT, or at least a package with them included.

I would love an Obiwan film! But Rebels recently covered what I thought would be cool for a Kenobi flick, but that doesn't mean there isn't a story to tell. I do love Obiwan, so I would be down.

I can't say why that idea alone would get me pumped but the Solo film does nothing for me.

The Last Jedi panel is my #1. I'm planning on camping out the night before to make sure I get in. The Funko panel and Mark Hamill's tribute to Carrie Fisher are the other ones I'm really looking forward to. I also bought an autograph ticket for Mark Hamill on Saturday and am so excited/nervous to meet him.

Agreed on the Rebels bit. Thought that would be a perfect storyline for a Kenobi movie, but I'm sure they can come up with something else that is worthy.

From about :50 to 1:35 is where they talk about the 40th panel.

So jealous you get to meet Mark! Especially after we'll (probably) see him and (probably) hear him in the trailer the day before. Also, camping out is definitely a good idea. If it's anything like San Diego Comic Con, you'll have to be there at least the evening before to get in at all.

Not being subtle at all are they? Haha I am gonna have to take my lunch during that time I guess to stream it. I'm actually in Orlando, but the thought of having to camp out and wait in line and be around all those people freaks me out. Luckily they have the stream.

I know, right? The not so subtle approach they're taking makes me think it's got to be something big. But I'm preparing myself for it to just be cast from every movie and Lucas himself. Trying not to get my hopes up too much, because last year's Celebration felt like a bit of a let down.
Totally get not wanting to be around/sleeping next to loads of people, but if I was in Orlando, I'm not sure I could resist going. Haha

Yeah it cost a pretty penny but this is my Treat Yo Self weekend so it was a no brainer. I have a hotel for that night but I think I'm gonna just use it as a place to store my stuff that night so I don't leave it in my car. Camping out for this kind of stuff is something I've never done and to hangout with a bunch of Star Wars fans all night is gonna be a great way to get hyped especially when Celebration is promoting the "sleepover" and has a system already in place for it.

Having a hotel is always a good idea. At SDCC I usually have one so I can have a place to shower before I go into the panel in the morning. Not sure if it will be similar at SWC. Either way, you'll have a blast. The energy is always electric at those kinds of conventions.

Big announcement on good morning America tomorrow?

Saw that too. I wouldn't expect anything groundbreaking though. GMA announcements have been a bit of a let down for Star Wars in the past. And Celebration is only a couple days away and I doubt Lucasfilm would blow their proverbial load so soon before that.

Hmm, interesting. I doubt they would show the trailer or make a movie announcement.

Yeah, I'm expecting something like a new "Force for Change" charity thing.

Could be. Or possibly just an announcement that the trailer will drop on Friday at celebration. This would be a better way to inform the casual fan who doesn't realize Star Wars Celebration is happening.

I would agree with you, but they specifically mention the 40th Anniversary and it being 40 years in the making and saying we'll "want to be a part of this force."

Ahh, yea good call. That does make it seem like it will be a force for change thing.

GMA announcement was unsurprisingly Force for Change charity related.

So is it pretty common consensus that we're getting the new trailer today? I'm just biding my time at work until I can listen to the Last Jedi panel at my desk haha.

Not 100% confirmed, but The Force Awakens had a trailer at Celebration in April 2015, Rogue One had its first trailer in April last year. It's all but a sure thing.
