A Jedi holding a light saber can be considered a spoiler now? What the hell.

 

When it's THE Jedi, yes.

 

I think there are maybe one or two small new shots in that. But it's basically just the first two trailers spliced together.

 

With the revelations about sexual abuse in Hollywood happening I find myself lately waking up with my fingers crossed saying "Please don't be a closet scumbag JJ."

 

I think it would be more spoilery if he had the green saber on the poster. Blue one could just be for training her.

 

Or if he had a red saber lol

 

I’m really starting to think his green saber is gone.

 

Oh no ha I hope not. When I was a kid, that was my favorite lightsaber.

It’s just a gut feeling. Though my theory/thoughts rely on a very specific timeline of when it was “lost”.

I didn't get a "cheesy" vibe, he said one line and was shown very briefly.

 

After fighting Vader in ROTJ - didn't he throw his light saber down? I don't remember him having it again on him after that.

 

To be honest all I can think of are old EU stuff.

I feel like we see it on him as he drags Vader towards the shuttle though. But I would need to verify that.

My theory includes his green saber... but it also doesn’t need to be that saber. It could be another saber of Luke’s.

 

Chances are he still has it - but I wouldn't be surprised if he just doesn't need it. Basically being strong enough to beat his enemies with just the force. We'll have to wait until next month though to see.

 

Insight into the green lightsaber, since there's been discussion around it.

 

He may not need it... but what Star Wars fan doesn’t want to see him ignite the green? Assuming he still has it.

But I think he will either end up with the hero saber or using a new blade. I feel like his old saber has met a certain fate.

 

I can’t watch video for a few hours. Do they show whether he had it at the end of Jedi?

 

He has it on his belt when he rejoins the group on Endor for the celebration. There's also some appearances in some new canon comics.

 

I still think Dark Maul has my favorite lightsaber. Luke's green one and Obi-Wan's blue one in ROTS are also favorites.
