Yeah well I don't mind it being part of the plot. I would actually welcome it but I don't personally think they spent any time exploring the idea in any meaningful way, and as a result it feels in poor taste. And that's a hard theme to tackle so if you're going to go there, then go there and give it proper attention. Don't redeem a child murderer. I'm hoping the new trilogy starts to face and properly explore this stuff, they've got plenty of time to do it now and theyre not helmed by someone with the brain of Lucas anymore. And I believe it is already canon that Kylo is a child murderer as well. So here's to hoping.

 

Now I'm gonna listen to TFA soundtrack

I like the part after all the opening crawls where all the instruments climb after one another and do that plateaued crescendo-y thing.

 

Did anyone ever play Shadows of the Empire on n64?!

That game had amazing music! I'm trying to remember if all of it was in the OT too or if some of it was new or deeper cuts from the soundtracks not used in the film.

I probably don't remember the music as much though.

 

I'm here for the prequel music love. Not enough to redeem the movies, but I'm happy those soundtracks exist in the world. Duel of the Fates, Across and Stars and Battle of the Heroes are all great.

 

The Clone Wars and the score to the prequels keeps me from wishing they didn't exist. Some of Williams best work.

 

It ruled. Im reading in the comments that apparently half of it was from Williams and that the title screen music was originally supposed to be the Empire Strikes Backs theme. No idea if that's true. But the music is ridiculously great

It would probably be unplayable now since I remember it being janky back in the day, but I still loved it. The 64 had some great Star Wars games

 

I've had a big goofy smile on my face all day listening to this. It's so much fun.

 

I had a lot of games for N64, but I think the first Star Wars game I ever owned was Dark Forces on the PS1.

 

Shadows of The Empire is forever dope

 

IG-88 scared the shit out of me in Shadows Of The Empire. I need to play that game again.

 

Oh I think I had that on PC. It was a first person shooter right?

 

Me too, I would always get nervous when that part was coming up.

The best part of the game was slamming guys into the wall with your Swoop Bike.

 

Shadows of the Empire is the best star wars game in my opinion. Loved the boba fett level.

 

I think Rogue Squadron is better, both 1 and 2. But not 3.

Jedi Outcast. I wish they'd make another game in that series so badly.

i was never into Knights of the Old Republic but I played the heck out of Rogue Squadron and Shadows.

Was also a very lowkey fan of the Podracing game lol
I knew the cheat code to get sebulba and always wrecked my friends.

 

I also really liked the SNES SW games.

 

Those were brutal though.

The ROTJ one was the best of those though.
