Oh weird. So the same company who owns the IP cancels this show from their own platforms, just they can sell it to another company's streamer?

 

Also so much for Paramount+ being the "exclusive home to all Star Trek series"

Tonight’s Lower Decks felt like Battleworld

 

The Lower Decks season finale was good! The next Trek to look forward to is Discovery season five…

 

A prequel to the Kelvin timeline sounds really interesting.

 

Wouldn't that just be a prequel to Star Trek in general? It would be before the timeline changed, wouldn’t it?

 

Then origins of the characters in Strange New Worlds are completely different then it is in 2009 Trek. Timeline obviously changed before that.

 

I would say on the whole I’m really not that into the idea of a Young Kirk movie if that’s what this is, but I will watch it opening day regardless

I love all this recent Star Trek news. I can’t get enough of my favorite franchise.

 

I still regularly listen to the soundtrack to Subspace Rhapsody. It’s magical.

 

I shared this news with my mom today because she’s a big fan of the Pine Quinto trilogy and she’s like they waited too long. They could’ve been on number six by now.
