Personally I hated season 2 way more than season 1. I would say if season 1 is your worst fears come to light, then season 3 is your wildest dreams come true..because it fulfills every wish Trek fans had about Picard when it was first announced. It doesn't even feel like the same show.

Also still definitely check out Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks. Both are very good and both are the most "traditional" Trek shows in years in their own way.

Discovery? Ehhh I personally don't like it but other Trek fans do. I would say still give that one a shot.

    Yikes about S02.

But my wife liked Picard S01, so I'll most likely be continuing with S02. Hopefully the S03 light at the end of the tunnel will be worth it.

I know that SNW has gotten some good buzz. I'll definitely consider that option and my wife will probably be open to it as well. Lower Decks is something I'd consider checking out, but my wife won't do animated shows so the odds I'll have the time for it are slim unfortunately.

On a whim, I've been revisiting Enterprise whenever I can. I think I've only ever seen it all the way through once when it initially aired. I'm hoping to change that.

Boy, does it bring back some memories.

Being fresh off watching Voyager that scene in Picard 3x6 where they show the USS Voyager at the Starfleet Fleet Museum and Seven proudly talks about her experience on that ship and how it changed her that gave me chills.

You gotta watch Enterprise next. There are a lot of misses, but it’s important for lore and the characters are good. Plus, Faith of the Heart.

I absolutely love what they are doing with Worf this season. He is my favorite part of this.

Just heard a theory that in Picard, Vadic’s crew are a revamp of the Jem Hadar and that would be extremely cool to me if true

I like the theory that the Riker we have been seeing on the show so far is actually his transporter clone Thomas Riker, which is why his personality seems slightly off.

I think we know the role in Picard season 3 that Robert Beltran turned down because he didn't think it was right for Chakotay now

They keeping making references to Odo but they haven't actually said the name "Odo" yet and it is very weird.

Starfleet Academy series finally confirmed. "first time in over a century" is pretty much confirmation that it will be set in the 32nd century Discovery era.

Yesterday’s episode was so good. They did my boy Tuvok dirty though. I’m 100% expecting a Janeway cameo.

I will say this about Enterprise, this is definitely the horniest and most male gaze-iest Star Trek ever made.

Also the Suliban are the grossest looking Trek alien design.

Seems like maybe a nemesis situation like with shinzon. He clearly was or has been altered to have special abilities.

I honestly have no clue, and I am kind of impressed that I don't have any solid theories of what is going on.

One theory about who the secret big bad on this that is making rounds on Reddit that Vadic's mysterious leader is Locutus, or more precisely an AI remnant of Locutus looking for Picard's body so he can become whole again

Not a huge fan of the Temporal Cold War/Suliban stuff so far.

My favorite stuff in Enterprise has been the Vulcans vs Andorians plot. Love Shran. Love that the Vulcans in this are pieces of shit.

A few episodes in my watchlist away from the Xindi War stuff.
