Been making my way through LD trying to get caught up before season 3 starts later this month. Love this quote so much.

" I'm sorry i gotta be honest I didn't sign up for Starfleet to get into phaser fights. The reason why I prefer Trek over Wars

 

Yeah to be honest i was initially skeptical of the concept of LD at first but this is probably my 2nd favorite of "nu-trek" after SNW. I mean it's pretty much a giant loveletter to the franchise itself. Like I can't imagine how someone who is just a casual Trek fan or a non-fan views this show, they gotta miss majority of the jokes/references.

 

LD season 3 tomorrow! I'm hyped.

 

The Zefram Cochrane stuff in the LD premiere had me giggling with delight. So cool they got Cromwell reprise his role.

Honestly I don't really mind this being scrapped. Was never really into the Kelvin timeline stuff and I feel like this franchise should do something entirely different if they go on the big screen again.

 

I would like more Kelvin stuff because I think it offers an opportunity to take Trek we already know in interesting and different directions, and we already have so many shows exploring the Prime timeline.
