Watching some DS9 and I love that the Federation's highest decoration for courage in the late 24th century is named the "Christopher Pike Medal of Valor". The lore in this franchise man.
" Romulans? no one's ever seen seen one, nobody knows what they even look like" YES CANON THANK YOU SNW
I hope we were going to get some more Sybok stuff this season. Hopefully it'll come up quickly in season 2.
I've seen that episode before but i'm rewatching it now and i totally didn't realize the SNW finale was literally set during the events of that episode.
Watching Prodigy for the first time. Setting this in the Delta Quadrant which the vast majority of kids and casual Star Trek fans are completely unfamiliar with is a pretty bold move.
Between Discovery, Picard, and SNW, there’s pretty much been a new Star Trek episode every Thursday this year. Genuinely not sure what to do with myself this week haha
Star Trek SDCC stuff incoming Also the LD showrunner teased "We're getting into DS9 this season, and you might see some familiar faces"
They've been working towards this for awhile, but I guess this means the few series that are still on other streamers will be taken off, and the few missing episodes on P+ will be added in.
might watch rewatch Chain Of Command Pts 1&2 tonight in tribute to David Warner. I know everybody is talking about him in Titantic, but I just know him as the villain in probably the best two parter TNG episode of all time "There are four lights" ...
Working from home on a saturday so i put on the Paramount+ live channels to keep from getting bored. They're doing a Star Trek movie marathon and man i always forget how fucking terrifying and creepy the Borg assimilation scenes in First Contact are.
Now Insurrection is on, i have it muted so i have no clue what's happening but there is a scene where Worf has a Llama and that rules.
The part in Nemesis where the Romulan Senate gets killed with some kind of bioweapon was creepy as hell too.
