This was pretty damn disappointing, and I thought this band only got better with each release. Feels like it takes itself way too seriously and the emotions is lacking. Love U Anyway and 17 were my favorites.

 

“Love U Anyway” and “G.A.G” for me. Pretty meh overall but luckily I adjusted the hype levels accordingly with each new pre-release track.

 

A total mess for me, unfortunately. Probably won’t revisit a single song on here.

 

i thought girls was the worst of the songs released, i did not like that song at all, luckily when i jammed the album in order i realized its really short haha

 

I like this a lot. There are a few misses, for sure, but a lot of really solid jams. It’s a lot of fun, imo

new tour got announced and they are goin out with ADTR & ABR

 

Couldn’t make it through more than half. Dreadful. Miss the sound of the first couple records.

 

Gave this a bit more of a thorough listen tonight, and I have to ask - were they trying to write some of the worst lyrics known to man?

Some of the songs are fun, others are not, none of them are really good. Just disappointing to see them regress so much when they're capable of more.

 

I already forgot about this pretty much. I agree they got some good jams on this album but as a whole its their worst.

 

Still loving this.

 

as for Australian pop punk i have been thoroughly enjoying yours truly new album though, they crushed their sophomore release. I also like new redhook as well, very cheeky!

I was just listening to Pink Elephant. I’d have loved if they went in a “DWYW” and “Soap” sort of direction instead of the trajectory they’re currently heading towards.

“Love U Anyway” and “G.A.G” are still the only two songs I come back to on this.

 

Pink Elephant is still such a banger of a record. Don’t know what happened

 

They leaned too much into their zoomer tendencies (and then refused to get off my lawn)

Caught them last night. Even though I'm not a fan of the new album, the songs are a lot more fun in a room of people bouncing around. Good show all around.
