wrap yourself in petals for armor.

Man I was about to check out with the hate me variant and had to say no. Trying so hard to save money haha. I know I'll nab it from Newbury comics or something when it comes out.

I am super hyped for this. I don’t listen to much new pop punk anymore but this band is just way better than any other.

  14. Yeah this album is just banger after banger. It's definitely leaning hard into pop but doesn't leave pop punk behind. I fully expect a larger pivot on the next record, and I think they could do it if they take more risks. Still, this band is 3/3 with me (including the early EP).

Downloaded the drip drip and this album is gonna be one of my favorites of 2020. So damn catchy.

everything about this album just feels huge, from the production to some of these choruses. Liked their debut album but totally on board with this one

Is this album worth my time if I haven't been a fan of their previous stuff?

    Absolutely love it!

  20. I mean, do you like pop-heavy pop punk? Big hooks? Crunchy guitars? Arena-sized drums? Emotional lyrics? Give it a try, if you don't like the first few songs the rest of the record is in a pretty similar vein.

Woah, this is awesome. Been awhile since a pop-punk record really excited me. The last two tracks especially are fantastic.

I think Hate Me (Sometimes) is my favorite on the record. Blurry is growing on me too.

  24. It's crazy that Hate Me (Sometimes) came out last year and still feels fresh. One complaint is that it is mastered slightly loudered than everything else on the album.

Also, this album art is reminding so much of the neon era, thank god it's just in the artwork (and big hooks).

Listened to this on my morning walk and it's really impressive. The production on this album is great. Been a while since a pop punk record grabbed me like this.
