Stand Atlantic – “Sex on the Beach” Video

It's like if 3OH!3 wrote "Le Disco" and I'm not feeling it at all. Which is a shame, I've liked some of their past releases

 

Yeah not feeling this one bit.

 

Loved fear. This is terrible.

 

they lose a little bit of charm with every album imo...indulging all the wrong instincts, i would say

 

Seems like a step back.

They can write hooks for days but I think they indulge their worst impulses when they just go for weird noise instead of letting the songs speak for themselves. FEAR had some of that, plus an overuse of the word fuck, like a boy at his first big kid slumber party. I’m not a prude but it also takes away from the song without adding anything meaningful. But at the same time, the songs themselves were so incredibly catchy, I would spin it a lot.

I don’t see that happening with this one.

 

Agree with pretty much everyone above. They’ve been on a slow downward trend for me and this is simply bad.

 

I love these guys so much, I'm bummed this just doesn't hit for me, but they did warn us to "forget everything we know about Standatlantapanties" or whatever that message was lol

 

Nope for me. I kinda like the chorus, but it doesn’t work with the verses at all. Love all their other stuff though. Didn’t think it was possible for them to miss.

 

That’s the first thing I noticed on FEAR. I sent a text to my brother saying they found out about cursing. So many uses of it.
