Okay, I've listened to Los Ageless maybe a hundred times now, and I've never been able to hear that first line as anything other than "the woman never cums." Sorry if that's vulgar, I'm not trying to be creepy or weird, but I can't be the only one hearing that instead of "the winter never comes."
Sounds like she is treating a new track this week. She's weird though so it could be anything, I guess.
So it looks like Spotify and herself teamed up to make an Escape Room. I don't see any articles about it, but check this thing out Spotify and St. Vincent Celebrate Forthcoming Album 'Masseduction' Thumbnails - Pictures - Zimbio
catching up on her endeavors over the past few months and okay so she's just a full-on fucking polymath now, huh? that's awesome "Los Ageless" is so good, wow. I think i was hard on 'new york' when i first listened to that, but I"m gonna have to revisit I think knowing what I know now
update: the chorus of "New York" reminds me of Sufjan, but the verses and pre-chorus still don't flow super well to my ears. The video/visuals are what make that one for me
so yeah they didn't play her music it was just an art space that she curated which definitely fit her aesthetic
She played the whole album live last night Watch St. Vincent Debut New Songs “Hang On Me” and “Pills” in LA
Anyone else taking notice to the isolation in her performances? Just her, a mic, guitar, and some backing tracks. She still captures my attention completely though.
What a great song, this album is seriously going to blow us away isn't it. Also: Clark worked on the song with Jack Antonoff. It includes vocals from Cara Delevingne and Jenny Lewis, saxophone from Kamasi Washington, and production by Top Dawg producer Sounwave.
