Been a while since anyone posted in here; the OP doesn't even reflect that the tour was extended into this year.

Just saw her in LA. I heard she'd be performing some songs from her previous albums (1-3 each, in order) and then Masseduction start to finish, but I didn't know she'd be playing without a backing band. Bad. Ass.

I love that she had a different outfit for each segment, both of which fit to this current album's aesthetic.

One of the more impressive light shows I've seen (now I know why there was a warning sign outside for people with epilepsy), plus the curtains in the first segment and the screen in the second were utilized quite well.

She killed it. We're all dead and my ghost writing this. Incredible guitar playing, as expected, but holy crap her singing was unreal. Annie is queen.

People were holding their phones way above their heads to record early on, blocking my view and surely many others'. I might be wrong, and probably am, but I think I heard her mumble "put your fucking phone down" between verses during a song. And it became less of a problem after that.

 

I actually didn’t like this setup much, I think her doing it herself without a band hurt if she wasn’t going to choreograph it more. I felt it was too stuck in the middle between a band performance and something unique
