The rollout of this album just keeps getting better and better.

I love this song so much! Very excited for SNL this weekend.

 

These are typically the types of tracks I don't come back to much. Definitely a grower for me.

 

New song is great. I probably like it a bit more than PYWIP, which admittedly has grown on me a lot

 

I love St. Vincent......but man these songs are almost a little TOO obvious in their influence. She’s really wearing it on her sleeve here. I think both songs are solid though. But I definitely rolled my eyes at the dark side of the moon reference and subsequent guitar slide (?).

Probably an unpopular opinion but the full on 70's cosplay is incredibly cringey to me. You can be inspired by an era's sound without it overtaking every aspect of your persona.

Reminds me of when Arctic Monkeys started dressing like greasers during AM, like it's a good album but ya'll are fuckin' dorks. Or when the dude from P!ATD discovered the Beatles in his 20's and tried to become them.

 

Melting of the sun is awesome.

 

please do not compared arctic monkeys or annie to panic at the disco.

 

Annie has always been borderline performance art, she straightened her hair and wore different outfits already for an album cycle
