I legitimately like this more than any song off Daddy's Home

 

There’s a couple of full songs on this soundtrack and they’re pretty damn good

 

The middle of "The Nowhere Inn" when the piano and guitar are playing with each other sounds sooo dreamy and amazing, it's moments like that which really pull me in. The way this song changes and expands as it goes on is really what I miss from Daddy's Home, there just aren't many exciting musical moments.

 

"Waiting On A Wave" is pretty awesome

 

The Nowhere Inn, Palm Desert and Waiting On A Wave are the only non-score songs, if anyone was curious

i actually kinda enjoy parts of this record

 

I actually enjoy this entire record a ton and will never understand why this site seems to agree it's bad

 

It’s got some songs. Overall think it’s very meh.

 

I thought seeing her live would change my opinion on most of the new songs. It did not. Still find a lot of this on the boring side. Down, Down and Out Downtown, Pay Your Way in Pain, and My Baby Wants a Baby are all good though.

 

Somebody Like Me is probably my favorite still
